Chef Gavin Kaysen - Echelon Guest Chef Series

Join us on Tuesday, February 23rd for Echelon's 2027 Guest Chef Series featuring a special guest: Chef Gavin Kaysen.
Gavin Kaysen is the award-winning founder and chef-owner of Soigné Hospitality Group, known for transforming the Minneapolis dining scene with acclaimed restaurants including Spoon and Stable, Demi, Bellecour, and Mara Restaurant and Bar. Since returning to his Midwestern roots in 2014, he has redefined dining in the region while mentoring the next generation of culinary talent. He continues to broaden his impact with new partnerships and openings, including the first outside of Minnesota: The Merchant Room opened in late 2025 in collaboration with Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, in southern Florida. He is a two-time James Beard Award–winner (Rising Star Chef 2008, Best Chef: Midwest 2018).
Beyond restaurants, he is the cofounder of KZ ProVisioning with Chef Andrew Zimmern; serves as President of Team USA in the biannual Bocuse d’Or competition in Lyon, France; and has served as a producer and judge for culinary television (Iron Chef, Bobby’s Triple Threat). He is the author of two self-published books: the cookbook At Home, and the culinary memoir-style collection of essays The Synergy Series, released in May 2025.
Chef Gavin will serve a prix fixe, multi-course menu for $200. There will only be an omnivore menu and no modifications. A wine pairing will be available to add-on during your dinner; with cocktails available a la carte as well.
